Metaverse Crypto is a new digital or virtual world where users can interact and share content.
The term metaverse (also known as metaverse crypto) refers to a computer-based model of a digital world, most often used to describe an alternate reality that is fully immersive and realistic.
The concept was popularised by sci-fi author Neal Stephenson in his book “Snow Crash” in the early 1990s. The metaverse consists of three parts: a physical substrate (the real world), a digital representation of that substrate (the metaverse), and the connections between them (metachatting).
The physical substrate represents the location and attributes of the natural world, such as geography, facilities, infrastructure and history. Through metal chatting, people can connect within their shared physical substrate.
These relationships are defined by user-specific data such as location, interests and status, which they can display publicly or privately.
